Consulting Services
Training means skills acquisition, which in turn means empowerment. We take our expertise in developing in-house programs on human rights, HIV/AIDS prevention, child protection, gender equality and other social and economic issues and train staff at other organizations to develop their own programs. To continue expanding our training capabilities, we recruit volunteers from both Uganda and beyond who possess expert skills and experience that can contribute to the YEI strategic focus.
Our training team conducts needs assessments, designs training modules, plans training activities, facilitates training programs and also conducts monitoring and evaluation of training impact. Organizations, institutions and businesses can sub-contract our expert and diverse training team for any of these services.
YEI also provides additional short training courses on:
- Computer skills
- HIV counseling and psychosocial support
- Drama script writing and directing
- Effective communication and public relations skills
- Film-making
- HIV prevention and care
- Monitoring and evaluation (M&E)
- Proposal design and development
- Vocational skills
